Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Krun website at krun.ai, the Krun API at api.krun.ai, the Krun console at console.krun.ai, the Krun SDKs and documentation, and any related services (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Krun Labs ("Krun", "we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account, generating an API key or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" refers to that organization.
1. The Services
Krun provides decision models, including Krun One, that return structured, typed answers (such as choice, noul, score and multi decisions) with calibrated probabilities, for inputs you send through the API or the console. Inputs may include text and, where supported, images, documents and audio uploaded as assets.
The Services are currently offered as a closed beta. Features, limits, models and availability may change, and some features may be experimental.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You are responsible for:
- the accuracy of the information you give us;
- all activity under your account, your organization and your API keys;
- keeping your credentials and API keys confidential. Do not embed API keys in client-side code or public repositories. Tell us promptly at contact@krun.ai if you believe a key or account has been compromised.
We may refuse, suspend or close accounts at our discretion during the beta.
3. Your content
"Customer Content" means the inputs you submit to the Services (contexts, questions, options, instructions and uploaded assets) and the outputs the Services return to you.
- Ownership. As between you and Krun, you retain all rights in your Customer Content.
- License to operate the Services. You grant Krun a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Services, and to comply with law.
- Training. We do not use your Customer Content to train or improve our models unless your organization opts in to training data sharing in the console. You can turn it off at any time. Media assets are never captured for training.
- Your responsibilities. You confirm that you have all rights, consents and legal bases needed to submit Customer Content, including any personal data it contains, and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights.
4. Outputs and appropriate use
Krun outputs are probabilistic predictions. They can be wrong, including when the model reports high confidence, and an abstention or low confidence signal is advisory unless documented otherwise.
You are responsible for how you use outputs, including evaluating them for your use case and keeping appropriate human oversight. Do not use outputs as the sole basis for decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
5. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Among other things, you must not:
- reverse engineer the Services;
- attempt to extract model weights or train competing models from outputs;
- circumvent rate limits, quotas or billing;
- use the Services for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes.
6. Fees, credits and usage
Usage is measured in input tokens and other units described in the documentation and the console. During the beta, access may be funded by credits granted to your organization.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable and may expire.
- When paid plans are introduced, applicable prices will be shown to you before you are charged.
- We may apply quotas, rate limits and spending limits.
- Usage records shown in the console are provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, our records prevail unless shown to be in error.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, models, software, documentation, trademarks and all related intellectual property are owned by Krun or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Subject to these Terms, you may use the Services and the published SDKs to build and operate your own products. SDKs are also subject to their own license terms, where provided.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
8. Third-party services
The Services rely on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party websites or integrate with third-party sign-in providers (such as GitHub or Google). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, immediately and without liability if:
- you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your use creates a security, legal or operational risk;
- we discontinue the beta or the Services.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 3, 4, 7 and 10–14) will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Beta features may be unstable, and service levels are not guaranteed. Operational status is published at status.krun.ai.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Krun will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Krun's total liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Krun for the Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law where it applies.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Krun and its personnel against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from:
- your Customer Content;
- your use of the Services or of outputs in breach of these Terms or applicable law;
- your violation of third-party rights.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice by email or in the console. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place of Krun's headquarters, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of the place where Krun Labs is established, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
15. General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and any order or plan terms you accept, are the entire agreement between you and Krun regarding the Services.
- If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
